What do you get when two engineers who are madly in love get married? You get this spectacular wedding at Le Chateau in, and the coolest ceremony graphic I have ever seen. Katari and Brendan are a one of a kind couple. They met at work and a little while later here they are getting married. Katari is all giggles and joy and Brendan breaks his stoic demeanor when he looks at her, he cant help but share a bashful smile. Their wedding was perfection and I am so excited to share it with you.

A Summer Wedding at Le Chateau

Katari and Brendan were SO excited during our initial consult back in November of 2022. I could feel their smiles through the phone as they talked about their dream wedding at Le Chateau and how much the Church they were saying ” I do” in meant to them. I immediately knew that they were my ideal couple, I really wanted to be there when they got married. Fast forward to wedding day and all of those day dreams came true.

Katari and all of her girls got ready right next to the Church, she had an incredible group of friends who were over the moon for her. I will always remember Katari peeking through the blinds to see if Brendan was at the Church already. In the Church Brendan was diligently checking on all the details while he paced nervously, It was so endearing. Katari and Brendan created a blue print of what it takes to have a happy marriage. The foundation was on God and Love, their families made up the walls and patience and family made up the walls. I have photographed over 200 weddings and I have never seen that. Perfect. In a small Lutheran Church under a blue sky in Nanuet, NY Brendan and Katari became Husband and Wife…and the crowd went wild.

Le Chateau in Westchester, NY is known for its Castle-like exterior with incredible views for miles, one of a kind. Katari and Brendan held hands and walked the grounds of Le Chateau while their guests piled in for cocktail hour. Katari did an impeccable job creating a light and classic aesthetic to her wedding day. Babys breathe and cascading bouqettes were the icing on top and the ballroom at Le Chateau gave us an AMAZING view for the first dances.

The happiest of beginnings…

Katari and Brendan are solid, when they said I do they meant it. What an honor to have taken part in over 200 weddings during my career as a wedding photographer. I tell my couples that I only accept weddings that I believe in and its true. If I am going to be away from my family I want to be able to stamp my approval on what I am doing, it needs to be worth the trade. Katari and Brendan certainly fit the bill. I adore you both and I am so happy to have watched your new family form.

THE CEREMONY

Brendan and Katari got married at Brendans family Church. It was so sweet to meet their Pastor and to hear his personal joy at performing their wedding. Brendan and the guys looked so dapper as the arrived and before we knew it, this wedding was underway!
