Being a Hudson Valley wedding photographer ( and truthfully all of the Northeast and beyond) has a TON of perks. I can photograph weddings in New York City, the beaches of NJ, Catskills and the woods of Pennsylvania all within an hour drive! Cove Island State Park in Stamford Connecticut is one of my FAVORITE locations! One, it is free. Two they allow all your pets, Three there are cliffs and beaches and some scenes that look like Scotland. I am so glad that Tina and Brandon wanted to have their Hudson Valley engagement session at Cove Island.
Tina and Brandon are the epitome of my ideal couple. They are over the top in love, still starry-eyed at each other, and they are dog parents to the most precious puppy. Thats all is takes to win me over folks, thats all. But really, they are very special. Tina and I hit it off right away on during our first phone consult, when choosing your wedding photographer aside from their work you must mesh with them on a friendship level. I tell all of my couples, aside from each other, my face will be the one you see the most.
Brandon plays Rugby, so he is certainly a tough guy. But with his Tina he is so tender it will melt your heart. He was watching out for her every step on the rocky shores and guided her down the “cliffs” with his hand. Tina is bubbly and funny and clearly adores her soon-to-be husband. Tina and Brandon have already had many adventures together, they are jet-setters for sure but this next one is sure to be a doozy. In August at the Thayer hotel they will embark on their most dramatic adventure, one that no amount of packing will every prepare you for. Congratulations you two!
The Hudson Valley is truly a visual treat, as a photographer I am so glad that the stunning Cove Island is only an hour drive away! If you are currently looking for a wedding photographer click the link below, I would love to hear your vision!
