March 13, 2021
Well well, we finally arrive at 2021…welcome long awaited friend. There will be highs of 2021 no doubt, and Alyse and Matts December wedding at the Feast at Round Hill will be one of them. There is a misconception that winter portraits are cold, dreary and bare. I can assure you nothing is farther from the truth. Winter snow provides light everywhere even when there is no light, just look outside on a snowy night and see how bright it is. Is’nt love kind of the same thing? You can take something that by all outward appearances should seem dark (like last year) but once you add that magic emotion we have dubbed “love” the darkest nights have glimmers of light. Its truly a gift of God.
Alyse and I talked for probably an hour on our first hello call, we just hit it off. Alyse is a graphic designer, I KNOW this wedding is going to be on point. Matt truthfully reminds me a lot of my husband. Stoic by nature, but once you get them to crack a smile you wont stop laughing. Put these two together and you see what they mean when they say opposites attract. You see how a giggly bright woman can crack the tough exterior, and my job is to capture that.
Buckle up, these next few are some of my FAVORITES
Alyse and Matt chose the West Point Foundry for their winter engagement session, and it is quickly a new favorite location of mine! If you want to see this location during the fall check out Rebecca and Collins engagement session from last October here! If YOU are getting married and you are looking for a bubbly, energetic, and crazy fun photographer…well send me an email here!
