Whenever I get the opportunity to shoot at a new location, my heart skips a beat. The Foundry Preserve in Cold Spring, NY has jumped to my favorites list. Rebecca and Collin booked with me after the most giggly phone call back in September and we immediately started planning the engagement session. Rebecca and Collin really wanted to grab that fall foliage if they could, and here in NY the peak lasts for around 4 days…so its a roll-the-dice situation. But these 2 clearly have good luck, we caught every delicious color that fall has to offer.
I adore these 2, I really do. Rebecca is the happiest, smiliest person (not to mention shes just stunning). Collin is her perfect balance, he’s a little more quiet but these 2 just keep each other laughing and that is such a contagious quality. Wedding photographers in the fall are exhausted, its like accountants in the spring, Rebecca and Collins engagement session truthfully gave me the boost of energy I needed to finish this season strong. We are all at the point where we need a good reason to finish this year strong, here it is. 2020, no one is sad to see you go, but everyone learned from you. We learned that fellowship and good ol’ hangouts are good for the soul, rest energizes you, and love is not contingent on big parties.

Rebecca and Collin, I am SO excited that you chose me. I am so glad that you chose the Foundry Preserve for your engagement session, and that you brought your “puppy”, come on 2022!
