They found me during a Google search of their wedding venue (Le Chateau in South Salem) and their Connecticut beach engagement session is one for the proverbial books. I rarely meet people who can match my level of excitement at pretty much anything, Im easily excitable. Alie and Zach are some of those rare people. They are a sunny day at the beach personified, the human equivalent to a favorite song on the radio, and one of the most beautiful couples.
Their community has a private beach and right down the road is where Zach grew up. His mother has pictures of him playing on that very beach, the one where he now stands with his soon-to-be wife. As a momma myself I know how that both rips your heart out AND makes it jump for joy. As a photographer thinking of his mother treasuring those pictures of little Zach further solidifies how important what I do is. Alie and Zach are currently planning on staying right where they are for a very long time. That means that one day THEIR children will play on the beach, that they took their engagement photos on, and that their father used to play in…and they will have pictures of every phase. These images are a true heirloom.
To Alie and Zach, I just cant wait for your wedding. I cant wait to watch your contagious smiles light up when you see each other. I cant wait for the right before the ceremony jitters, I cant wait to shed a tear when your pronounced husband and wife, I cant wait to crack up while you party the night away with your people. Its going to be epic, and it will be here before we know it.
