Central Park in NYC is the epicenter of every romcom, and for good reason. Is there anything more NYC Engagement session than cherry blossoms and yellow cabs? Maybe a hot dog cart BUT that was not the vision for Spiro and Ally. They wanted a classic, high-end feel and the Central Park Reservoir ( also known as the Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis Reservoir) gladly put out its best Cherry Blossoms for these two.

Spiro and Ally traveled to NYC for their engagement session because it was in NYC that they first told each other they were in love. I remember when my husband first told me, I was 18 and he wrote it in a card that I still have on Valentines day, story for another time. Choosing a location to have your engagement session might feel daunting ( click here for my blog post with my favorite locations) BUT you can never go wrong finding a location that means something to both of you Central Park was the perfect option for their engagement sessin. Truthfully, this makes the photographers job of getting you in that romantic space SO much easier, nostalgia does that for us every time.

Spiro and Ally are a joy, and their confidence in one another shows up so easily on camera. I am SO excited to photograph their wedding next August at The Franklin Plaza which will be here before we know it!
