Handsome Hollow in Long, Eddy NY provided the perfect backdrop for the perfect couple to have a perfect wedding. Rachel and John have officially started out making their own family, and it is always an honor to be there at the start. John is a forester so it was fitting that he married the love of his life Rachel nestled among trees.

Handsome Hollow was the perfect Venue for Rachel and John, it sums them up. It is rugged and earthy like John who is at home in the woods, at the same time classy and stunning like Rachel. It is so important to me that my couples feel like old friends, Rachel and John do. This is truly just the beginning for Rachel and John. A sweet little baby is on the way! Families are formed at a wedding. Families grow at weddings, all of those feelings are magnified when a baby is on the way!
Rachel put so much care into every little detail. From the champagne wall to the very plate labels handmade for each guest, she poured love into every aspect. Their first look framed by two trees set the stage. A cozy path that was carved by nature to the ceremony sight continued their story. Friends and family tossed flower petals as John broke the glass which united them together.
Emotions cannot always be described with words. The way John looked at his bride, mother of his child is one of them. I am glad I am a wedding photographer and not a wedding writer for this reason, because at the end of the day you have to see it to believe it. Handsome Hollow with all of its charm does not hold a candle to the beauty of a new family, a new beginning that is fueled by that tale as old as time…love.

FIRST LOOK
The signing of the Ketubah is when the couple is officially married in the Jewish tradition. They are the most beautiful piece of artwork, and a constant reminder to the covenant of marriage.
Wedding days are a group effort, I would be remiss if I did not thank the many people who made this day perfect!
