Stephanie & Ryan, where do I even begin? I remember an early morning in August of last year on the beach. We strolled through white sands and talked about your new house. What struck me as sweet was how excited Stephanie and Ryan were to start their lives together. No snarky talk, there was nothing but absolute joy at finding the love of their life, it was precious.
Stephanie is my type of person, she loves planning and as I like to say structure sets you free. I value having a lot of contact with my couples leading up to the wedding because I want us to feel comfortable and confident in the wedding day flow. As we headed into the wedding I felt like I had been friends with Stephanie for years. And like I had known her wedding planner Jess equally as long. You cant plan for everything. Like most weddings there were a few bumps in the road, BUT amazingly we were able to stay on track and have an amazing wedding day!
The Aria in Connecticut was the perfect setting for their vision of a classically glam wedding. The white interior of their newly built chapel (finished just the night before) was a show stopper. Stephanies stunning gown with floral touches perfectly matched Ryans classic tux in blue with the black lapel (my new favorite combination). Mornings of wedding can be stressful. It would be odd of me to not mention how Stephanie was able to breathe once she got alone with Ryan. Ryan clearly makes her feel safe and like everything will be ok. She began smiling and laughing and I physically watched her shoulders drop.Being with her now husband put her at ease…these two are going to do so well.
These two have the sweetest families. Her Dad dabbed away tears when he saw his little girl standing in the grand hallway in an even more grand gown. Ryans mom was a picture of calm demeanor and absolute pride in the man her little boy has become. Friends and family in their bridal party were clearly thrilled that these two are finally one! Their wedding day was clearly waited for by more everyone. To you both, may you always find solace in each other, and as your family continues growing I hope you always look back to this land mark day with happy tears! Congratulations!
Now get ready for one of the sweetest daddy daughter first looks I have seen.
We now interupt you to tell you that this next set of portraits make me beam with pride. If you are a photographer you know how difficult rainy windy days can be. A wedding at the Aria in Connecticut is perfect in all settings and this next set shows why!
Every wedding day is a group effort and I want to take a moment to shout out the stellar vendors who made every aspect of this day possible!
