A CLASSY WEDDING AT THE HALL OF SPRINGS
SARATOGA, NY
Ali and Eli planned the most beautiful wedding at the Hall of Springs in Saratoga. Classy is an understatement, this wedding was straight out of a magazine. White pillars and red bricks, reflecting pools and a perfect sky surrounded these two on their wedding day. COVID had changed plans (and venues) a handful of times for Ali & Eli and the Hall of Springs was hardly settling, for real this might be my new favorite wedding venue.
Ali and Eli are in love. Now, that might seem like the most obvious statement but their love is different. One of my favorite moments was when I was photographing Eli in the morning. He looked so handsome in his suit and he was truly beaming. At one point I simply said to him ” I cant wait until you see her” and he burst into tears. I love a man who is not ashamed to let everyone know he loves his girl, Eli is absolutely that man. Ali was laughing saying she is not a crier(her father and Eli certainly are), BUT during her first look with Eli she cried (liar).
The song that kept playing in my head during their portraits was “cant keep my eyes off of you” because they could’nt. Photographing them is easy, I dont have to break them out of their shell its natural for them. Combine that with the stunning, classy architecture at the Hall of Springs and magic is made. Ali and Eli had to endure job loss, changing venues, COVID stress and so much more…they deserved this perfect day.
Webster’s Dictionary defines ‘wedding’ as ‘the fusing of two metals with a hot torch.’ Well you know something? I think you guys are two medals. Gold medals.

Ali & Elis decor so perfectly complimented the classy vibes that the Hall of Springs in Saratoga puts off naturally. I felt like I was in a castle, with a real life princess.
I always carve out time to head out during the sunset to grab a few more of those glowy portraits im known for. The sun decided not to join us BUT these portraits have all of the creamy color you could want!
A picture straight out of a fairy tale for this real life princess. A part of me looks at this wedding and wants to say “take that COIVD”, and as we climb out of this pandemic that is becoming the mantra. I am so grateful for all of the love I have been able to capture, whether its mini-monies, micro weddings or the full big deal they have been a privilege.
