Kristie and Trevor were planning a beautiful wedding for July of this year, thanks to the “C” word they INSTEAD had a beautiful micro wedding this year! We met in Central Park last October for their engagement session. We strolled and talked about their love story that began way back in high school and wedding day details. No one expected a global pandemic to delay those plans, But here we are. I know that this was not the original plan, but let me tell you….these images are some of my favorites ever.
With just a handful of friends and family around them, Kristie glided down the aisle to her high school sweetheart. Trevor fought back tears but the red hue in his eyes gave him away, Kristie was a sight to see. Beneath one of my favorite trees at the Grandview and with the sun dancing on the waves of the river, they exchanged their wedding vows. After a picture perfect first kiss we went to the waterfront for just a *few* pictures. It may have been hot and hazy out, but the way Kristie and Trevor kept smiling at each other…oh it made the important things crystal clear. Their decision to have a micro wedding in NY turned out to be the most beautiful plan “C” ever.
To all of the couples who are postponing their big parties until next year: I cant imagine what you are going through. I CAN promise you that there is a silver lining. Couples are saying that this virus has drawn them closer together, they have learned that love is absolutely enough, and that at the end of the day…big party or not…love really does win.
Right before we did the first look with her dad and brothers, her sweet sister Leah got all teary eyed, it was the sweetest.
Well the sweetest until THIS reaction…
