Engagement sessions  are not just a “thing” to cross off your wedding to do list. Your engagement session is a time to become friends, I mean you two are already friends but friends with me. Shelby and Mike wanted to have their engagement session in Westchester, NY  at her fathers horse farm. It’s a stunning property, with beautiful barns and florals everywhere, and a  picturesque dirt road to boot. It’s a dream, I plan on asking if I can move in (ill keep you posted). You don’t find spots to have a  Westchester, NY like this often, it’s a hidden gem.

Shelby and Mike are absolute perfection, they have a chemistry that falls together naturally, effortless. From our first conversation I really wanted to be a part of their wedding, Shelby has such a laid back demeanor and those brides are the best, I knew Mike would be the exact same way. They drove up from NC so we can meet for the first time (plus their pup) and I just cant WAIT for their wedding day, I just adore them. Cross your fingers that this September these 2 will tie the knot at The Preston Barn, A venue I have been wanting to shoot at for a WHILE. For now enjoy the sweet way these 2 laugh at eachother, the way that Michael rests his head on Shelby, and their SUPER cute “puppy”!
