First Engagement Session of 2022

Stephanie and Cody were the absolute BEST couple to kick off my first engagement session of 2022. These two Harry potter, world trotting, super cute  people are all in a flutter while planning their wedding. We talked travel destinations, Lord of the Rings, and how I tend to fall all of the time. These winter months for photographers are an odd mixture of finally taking a much needed breath, while at the same time desperately missing the sound of the camera shutter. Stephanie and Cody made me laugh and forget that I was ” at work” while I photographed them, my favorite.

It started with a bang

While waiting at the light on the way to Steph and Codys engagement session I was rear ended. I can say with FULL confidence that 2022 is starting off with a bang…see what I did there?  I was so excited when Steph told me that they wanted their engagement session at Vanderbilt, I have been waiting for the construction to finally wrap up. It was such a treat to have my first engagement session of 2022 at Vanderbilt, that place is a dream.The weather was perfect at Vanderbilt historical mansion, which has been newly renovated to reveal smooth, creamy columns and well manicured grounds. In November these two will tie the knot in the Bronx. From my time with them I can already tell its going to be a PARTY, and im here for it.

It is hard to believe that these are just a FEW images from my first engagement session of 2022. This next year is going to be one full of gratitude, full of laughter, and FULL of weddings. Stephanie and Cody I am so grateful that you chose me out of the literal hundreds of wedding photographers, its an honor. I cannot wait to meet all of the people you hold dear to you. I cant wait to see the look on Codys face when he sees Stephanie for the first time, to watch them laugh during their first dance, and to see tears in everyones eyes that this day has finally happened. From the bottom of my heart thank you, let’s  do this!
