Miriam and Andrew are both New Yorkers and we met for the first time in Central Park for their engagement session. They are BOTH personal trainers in NYC. If you want trainers who will encourage you to be a healthier you, than check out their website here! When Miriam strolled up in her flowing dress giggling away with Andrew I knew that these people were going to find a place in my heart. We hugged and laughed, it was stellar to finally meet them!
Central Park is filled with bubble artists, horse-drawn carriages, and opera singers. In the middle of the hustle and bustle Miriam and Andrew stayed focused on each other. There is so much affection between them, it’s tangible, it’s real, and it’s a JOY to capture.
I write this blog post in the midst of the Corona virus pandemic, we in NY have been on “pause” for 2 months and I have not been able to go dance among the cherry blossoms. Reflecting back on these perfect spring days has been like honey to my soul. I am itching to get back to capturing memories.
Miriam and Andrew were married in the fall of 2019 at Diamond Mills in Saugerties NY, all of my suspicions of them were proven true by the amazing people who they surround themselves with. Meeting the friends and family of my couples is always the icing on the proverbial wedding cake. I talk with their mothers and listen to the tales of younger versions of themselves, I cry when I see the tears fill their eyes…weddings are bittersweet in that way. Thats another blog post for another day, for now enjoy their engagement session!
As the sun was setting we began preparing for my FAVORITE Central Park engagement session tradition (Bethesda Terrace Lights). They changed outfits which is ALWAYS a good idea during an engagement session, this dress is another stunner.
Are YOU engaged? Make sure to contact me so we can be friends <3
